.... I decided that I wanted to make a 7-up Salad for New Year's dinner, which also happens to be my dad's birthday. So I looked through my 453 (give or take a few) recipe books in my kitchen and finally decided to go to my computer to see what the internet had to offer.
You see, when I am about to make (or create) something that I've never made before, I research the subject like most people would research how to remodel a bathroom... or build a full scale Empire State Building. :/ I don't know why I can't just find a recipe, try it, and move on! For some reason, it has to be the exact recipe I'm looking for or it's just not gonna happen.
So, getting online to find a good recipe for 7-up Salad somehow led me to start blogging.
Hopefully, this blog will eventually (and magically) transform into a great place to find great recipes! :) Yes... much enthusiasm in that last sentence.
So we'll see if it will start off with a 'can't live without' recipe for 7-up Salad. Stay tuned!
